The Super Bikes Used In Dhoom Trilogy [Dhoom 1-3] Bollywood Movie

This story is dedicated to Dhoom ,A Bollywood famous action movie .This Movie Has Already had 1st sequel (Dhoom 2). This year (2013) ,It releasing its 2nd sequel Dhoom 3 . Dhoom Always famous for its bikes used. Fast, Powerful Bikes made Dhoom  so much popular.

But a there is a small story behind the use of bikes.Originally the movie was supposed to have top-of-the-line sports cars. Then the director, Sanjay Gadhvi wanted to have motorcycles because the actors' faces could be seen clearly. Also, he was also crazy about motorcycles when he was young.

Dhoom (2004)

The Movie Dhoom was the first movie of this series released in 2004 staring Abhishek Bachhan, John Abraham ,Uday Chopra .

The bikes used in the film are the Suzuki Hayabusa (1300cc), the Suzuki GSX-R600 (600cc) and the Suzuki Bandit S (1200cc). 

Among all John used Hayabusha And Uday Used Yellow Suzuki Bandit S , If i am right then Abhishek used GSX-R600. Lets take a look at pictures

Suzuki Hayabusa (1300cc)

 

This is Hayabusha  used by John ,This Giant bike has Engine Capacity 1340 cm³ (cc) (81.8 ci.in)

with 4-Stroke, 4-Cylinder, Liquid-cooled, DOHC .It combines massive thrust, unmatched maneuverability, and a silky smooth ride on city streets or the open road. Beneath its windswept design beats the legendary Suzuki Hayabusa engine. The resonating feel of pure power evokes an attitude of bold authority from both machine and rider.

Suzuki Bandit S (1200cc)

 

A yellow Bandit S was used by Uday Chopra Having Spec : 1200 cc ,Air and oil-cooled 1,157 cc inline-4, DOHC, 16 valves. 98 hp (72 kW)/ 8,500 rpm, 91.7 Nm/ 6,500 rpm.Having stainless steel muffler, exhaust catalyzer added to exhaust system on California model to further reduce emissions.

 Suzuki GSX-R600 (600cc)

GSX -R600 is A 599cc, four-cylinder engine with a race-proven oversquare bore/stroke ratio provides exceptionally potent, high-revving performance.A 4-into-1 stainless-steel exhaust system features a titanium muffler, which carries a Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) valve. The system maximizes torque and improves throttle response, especially in the low-to-mid RPM range.

Dhoom 2 (2006)

Later Dhoom 2 came which is also known as Dhoom 2 Back in action with staring Hrithik Roshan Replacing villian .The  Bike used in this version of movies are Suzuki GSX-R 1000 ,Suzuki Bandit 1200 S and Suzuki GSR 600.

Among these 3  Hrithik Appeared with  GSX-R 1000 ,Uday With Same Bandit Showed in Dhoom and Abhishek with GSR 600

Suzuki GSX-R 1000

This Bike was shown with the new villian  Hrithik. Efficien ,Powerful Bike having The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a sport bike from Suzuki's GSX-R series of motorcycles. It was introduced in 2001 to replace the GSX-R1100 and is powered by a liquid-cooled 999 cc (61.0 cu in) inline four-cylinder, four-stroke engine.

 Suzuki GSR 600

 

The Suzuki GSR600 is a 599 cc 16v in-line four motorcycle that was introduced in 2006 as a middleweight street-bike built with the 2004 GSXR-600 engine. The engine is re-tuned for more usable midrange power as well as higher torque. It also features fully adjustable rear suspension (rebound and compression) and streetfighter-styling.

Dhoom 3 (2013)

Its The time of Dhoom 3 releasing this year. Again replacing Villain with Aamir Khan. Much of action are coming to see. In this movie BMW Bike Was Chosen For Aamir. The Dhoom team updated their Bike from Hayabusha to BMW K1300R. This time Uday Changed is bike with red and white toned BMW S 1000 RR.

BMW K1300R is powered by 6-speed manual gears, 4- valve per cyclinders, bridge type chasis, liquid cooling, 4-stroke 1293CC engine and light wieght 228 kg, Selft-Start, headlamp etc. It is really a perfect bike for young generation.

  BMW S 1000 RR

 

The BMW S1000RR is a sport bike initially made by BMW Motorrad to compete in the 2009 Superbike World Championship that is now in commercial production. It was introduced in Munich in April 2008,and is powered by a 999 cc (61.0 cu in) inline-4 engine redlined at 14,200 rpm.
